Job description

Cloud operations role , Business is looking for hands-on Engineer in lieu of Architect for this role with 10-12 yrs of exp.

This is going to be 100% AWS Cloud Platform Management & Operations Role with little or zero DevOps responsibilities. Relocation to Rockville, MD would be preferred but not mandatory.

Working on Service-Now tickets (OS level & Cloud level troubleshooting/Remediating vulnerabilities) & adhering to SLAs.

  • Creating & Implementing change controls, responding to RCA.
  • Commission/Decommission of Cloud Resources
  • Planned DR activities with different application teams.
  • Cleanups and cost-optimization analysis and implementation
  • Cloud Migrations and Site externalizations.
  • Backups/Patching of instances and resources.
  • Automations and PoCs.
  • Adhering to all documentation standards, else a lot of re-work has to be done.
