Job description

Job Summary:  To perform the accounting, management reporting and data analysis duties for Pharmacy Services within CaroMont.  Analyzes internal and external pharmacy financials, billing charging for variances and discrepancies.  Provides actionable and meaningful analyses and reports to leadership. Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Makes recommendations to management regarding operations, processes, technology, and other pertinent areas derived from analysis. Maintains departmental systems through data loads, data validation and reconciliations, and system troubleshooting.  Develops financial, operational, and data analysis. Determines usage assessments based on purchase history. Assists various pharmacy department personnel and other departments within CaroMont. Understanding of 340B operations, rules and regulations. Assist in internal and external auditing. Responsible for daily oversight of 340B Program operations including updating, operating, and maintaining all aspects of CaroMont’s 340B software and Policy and Procedures.  

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university or equivalent work experience. Five years healthcare/clinical experience required with an emphasis in data analytics and pharmacy.  Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate varied activities, and significant ability to troubleshoot data anomalies.  Candidates should also possess working knowledge of pharmacy programs, products, and automation such as automated dispensing cabinets, carousel or robot, advanced knowledge of Excel.  Working knowledge of computers and peripherals. Candidate displays the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.  Knowledge of Epic a plus. Obtain certification of Apexus 340B University within 180 days of hiring and maintain.
