Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our client a Fortune 200 company in Miami FL, delivering projects that align business needs with technical solutions. The ideal candidate will gather and document requirements, collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, objectives, and desired outcomes through interviews, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.

Evaluate gathered requirements for feasibility, relevance, and impact, and work closely with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business needs.

Create clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), use cases, and user stories.

Develop process flow diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups to illustrate requirements visually.

Maintain detailed and current documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Analysis & Testing

Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.

Conduct basic gap analysis and impact analysis for system enhancements and process changes.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test execution, defect tracking, and issue resolution.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Partner with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented as intended.

Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve documentation templates, and increase the overall efficiency of the BA function.

Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and methodologies related to requirements gathering, documentation, and automation.

Support end users with training and documentation on new system functionalities and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2 to 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience creating formal documentation and gathering requirements.

1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with UiPath, including exposure to process automation workflows or supporting RPA-related projects.

Proficiency in writing functional specifications, user stories, and system documentation.

Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Experience supporting testing efforts, including manual testing and UAT.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences.

Proficiency in tools such as Jira, GitHub, Confluence, Miro, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SQL and basic data analysis tools.

Exposure to API testing and integration testing.

Experience with additional RPA tools such as Blue Prism.

Prior experience in financial services or banking.

Certifications such as ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis).
