Overview

Join our dynamic IT team as an Automation Development Analyst supporting the development, deployment and maintenance of enterprise automation solutions and low-code applications. You'll collaborate with senior team members building and supporting automations under established standards with an emphasis on reliability, monitoring, documentation and operational sustainability. These efforts will enhance production support activities across both Robotic Process Automation ("RPA") and Microsoft Power Platform solutions

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automation solutions using approved platforms such as Power Automate and other RPA tools.
  • Gather and analyze existing process flows, use cases, and requirements to identify automation opportunities with guidance.
  • Support unattended and attended desktop automations using Power Automate for Desktop.
  • Implement basic triggers, conditions, exception handling, logging, notifications, and alerts within automation solutions.
  • Implement application data models following defined security and audit requirements.
  • Assist in configuring Dataverse tables, relationships and data models in alignment with defined security and audit requirements.
  • Support secure integrations with systems and data sources using approved connectors and leastprivilege principles.
  • Participate in testing activities by developing and executing test cases and validating results with supervision.
  • Support solution promotions across Development, Test, and Production environments following documented procedures.
  • Assist with production support activities, including troubleshooting automation failures and escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain technical documentation and runbooks, standard operations procedures ("SOPs") for automation operations.
  • Adhere to governance, security, and data loss prevention ("DLP") standards, including required approvals and documentation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and team members to validate workflows and acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or relevant academic project, internships or coursework required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in automation or application development, or equivalent academic experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps required
  • Introductory scripting experience (PowerShell or Python) preferred.
  • Awareness of API integrations and connectors preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

COMPENSATION:  $65,000 to $90,000
