This role serves as the primary intake and assessment function for new automation requests, ensuring opportunities are aligned to enterprise automation standards, technically feasible, scalable, and appropriate for RPA or AI-enabled automation solutions. The analyst partners closely with Operations teams, architects, and developers to assess process suitability, capture requirements, and support automation delivery from discovery through implementation.

The role requires strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, process analysis experience, and working knowledge of UiPath and enterprise automation technologies to determine the right automation approach while preventing inefficient or unstable processes from entering the development pipeline.

  • Document business processes, workflows, BRDs, functional requirements, process flows, and use cases.

  • Assess process stability, standardization, technical feasibility, scalability, and operational readiness.

  • Partner with developers and solution architects to support requirements clarification, design, testing, and implementation.

  • Support automation governance, intake prioritization, and pipeline management activities.

  • Identify and prevent low-value or technically unsuitable automations from entering development.

  • Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives across all functions.

  • Maintain documentation and analysis standards aligned with enterprise SDLC and governance practices.

Education/Previous Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and more than five (5) years of relevant experience in business analysis, automation, RPA, IT Operations, or enterprise technology initiatives is preferred.

  • Experience supporting enterprise automation programs and working with cross-functional technology teams preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Experience documenting business processes, workflows, BRDs, and functional specifications.

  • Ability to evaluate when automation, workflow, integration, or process redesign is the appropriate solution.

  • Experience supporting enterprise IT Operations or technology-focused initiatives.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
