Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril Cyber is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of capabilities to enable offensive cyber missions. Cyber is a new business line at Anduril, and relies upon our fleet of autonomous vehicles, Lattice operating system, mesh networks, and other hardware products to engage in cyber operations at the edge. We design and build novel solutions to deploy cyber capabilities in unconventional or difficult to reach environments Anduril Cyber is hiring a Software Engineer focused on embedded and mission software integration. Strong candidates may lean more heavily toward embedded-platform or mission/backend work, but should be comfortable collaborating across adjacent layers that connect devices, operators, and data products.
ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril Cyber is hiring a Hardware Test Engineer with strong test-design and automated-validation discipline across software, hardware, and RF lab environments. The role is for an engineer who can turn requirements into repeatable evidence, scale regression coverage, and improve confidence in increasingly complex integrated systems.
  • Design test approaches, fixtures/harnesses, and automated validation workflows that exercise hardware/software systems in lab and pre-field environments.
  • Build requirement-traceable test coverage spanning functional validation, regression, qualification, and environmental test readiness.
  • Develop Python, Bash, Robot Framework, or equivalent automation used to configure systems, drive equipment, collect evidence, and flag regressions.
  • Operate across RF test equipment, networking, infrastructure, and system-control surfaces to validate integrated behavior end to end.
  • Partner with software, FPGA, DSP, hardware, and systems engineers to reproduce issues, isolate failures, and improve release confidence.
  • Help establish disciplined test plans, defect triage loops, and evidence packages that support productization and field readiness.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong experience in automated test and validation using Python, Bash, Robot Framework, or comparable tooling.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD-backed regression systems, preferably with GitLab CI/CD or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on familiarity with RF and hardware test equipment such as signal generators, analyzers, switch matrices, power systems, or environmental chambers.
  • Ability to translate requirements into concrete test procedures, fixture/harness designs, coverage maps, and objective pass/fail evidence.
  • Comfort working across Linux systems, networking, infrastructure, and hardware interfaces while debugging integrated failures.
  • Strong defect-triage instincts and the ability to reproduce, isolate, and clearly communicate technical issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in evidence capture, traceability, and release readiness.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with qualification testing, environmental testing, or standards-driven validation in defense, aerospace, or similarly rigorous domains.
  • Background leading or coordinating small validation teams and establishing scalable engineering workflows.
  • Familiarity with lab automation that spans both software control and physical instrumentation.
  • Experience supporting field events, acceptance testing, or high-visibility readiness reviews.
  • Working knowledge of mixed hardware/software/RF systems beyond pure software test automation.
