Job description

ROBO Culture:

ROBO is founded on its 6 core values: Endless Learning, Caring is Our Superpower, Own the Problem, Follow Up & Follow Through, Adapt and Overcome, and A positive energetic environment brings life to work! ROBOs live out the core values every day and are enthusiastic about providing the best customer service. At ROBO we are passionate about our employees, helping them develop their skill and knowledge to reach beyond their potential.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to become ROBO’s first dedicated marketing hire and build our marketing function from the ground up. This is a builder’s role, not a manager’s — you’ll personally plan and execute the campaigns, content, and programs that drive qualified pipeline for our sales team across our respective markets. Reporting to leadership, you’ll own demand generation, brand, and sales enablement end to end: writing the email, launching the campaign, updating the website, and sharpening the sales deck, often all in the same week.

To succeed, you’ll be a resourceful, metrics-driven generalist who thrives as a team of one, is comfortable owning results, and can turn a modest budget into measurable growth.

This is a hybrid role, with some time expected on-site at one of ROBO’s offices (Austin, Dallas, Portland, or Tampa).

Responsibilities:

  • Demand Generation & Pipeline: Own the strategy and hands-on execution of multi-channel campaigns — email, paid search and social, SEO, and landing pages — to generate qualified leads for sales across our respective markets.
  • Marketing & Sales Alignment: Partner closely with sales to define lead quality, manage handoffs, and report on marketing’s contribution to pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Brand & Content: Develop and maintain ROBO’s brand voice and produce the content that carries it — blog posts, case studies, social media, and email.
  • Website & Digital Presence: Manage and continuously improve the ROBO website, SEO, and analytics as the hub of the marketing engine.
  • Sales Enablement: Own and evolve ROBO’s sales collateral — tier battlecards, one-pagers, the feature comparison matrix, pitch decks, and proposal templates — keeping them current and effective.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Manage the third-party lead-generation agency relationship, hold it accountable to clear KPIs, and advise leadership on whether and when to bring capabilities in-house.
  • Marketing Operations: Stand up and maintain the foundational marketing tech stack (CRM/marketing automation, analytics, email) and the reporting behind it.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Define marketing KPIs, build a simple dashboard, and report performance and ROI to leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Local Market & Events: Grow ROBO’s local presence and drive events and community engagement across our markets.
  • Employer Brand: Support recruiting with careers-page content and employer-brand storytelling that reflects ROBO’s culture of developing elite talent.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on B2B marketing experience, ideally in an MSP, IT services, or professional/technical services environment
  • Demonstrated demand-generation experience with measurable pipeline and revenue results
  • A “full-stack” generalist comfortable building from scratch and operating as a team of one
  • Proficiency with core marketing tools: CRM/marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot), Google Analytics and Ads, SEO tools, email platforms, a CMS/website (e.g., WordPress), and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content-creation skills
  • Experience managing external agencies or vendors to measurable outcomes
  • Familiarity with the MSP/IT buyer and sales cycle is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a bias toward action and ownership

Benefits

  • Performance Bonus
  • Continuing Education Bonus
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid Time Off and Holidays
  • Parental Leave, Jury Duty Leave, Bereavement Leave
  • Career Development Program
  • HeyTaco Recognition Program
