Job description

As a Senior Product Manager in Engineering Acceleration, you will define the vision and strategy for how software engineers work at Roblox. Your mission is to ensure that Roblox engineers spend more time building the metaverse and less time managing infrastructure complexity in your areas of responsibility.

The Engineering Acceleration portfolio includes Source Control, Testing, Secure Software Supply Chain Management, Continuous Deployment, and Observability among many others. In this role, you will primarily own the developer experience for Continuous Deployment, Testing, and Observability, while remaining adaptable as organizational priorities evolve.

AI has been transforming how we approach these systems. We're already leveraging AI to test our software and to identify and diagnose production incidents. The successful candidate here will bring deep expertise not only in the software development lifecycle, but crucially also on the rapidly evolving landscape of AI tooling.

This is a rare opportunity for an infrastructure product leader to drive meaningful impact at scale across a very large engineering organization.

You Will:
  • Define and drive the long-term vision and strategy for Testing, Continuous Deployment, and Observability platforms
  • Own and improve the productivity and satisfaction of Roblox's engineering community across these domains
  • Leverage AI to create a new generation of tools that super power our engineers
  • Elevate our internal platform to a world-class developer experience that engineers rely on and enjoy using every day
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Security, and Reliability leaders to align priorities and execution
  • Unify and modernize tooling to support a wide range of workloads, ensuring broad adoption and measurable impact
You Have:
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years delivering infrastructure, developer, or operations tools
  • Deep familiarity with modern solutions, platforms and infrastructure domains, including testing, observability, and CI/CD systems,  along with the curiosity to identify and shape the next generation of developer tooling
  • Expertise in the frontiers of AI developer tools (and their limitations)
  • Strong technical foundation (Computer Science degree or equivalent experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to define multi-year product strategy and rally large, cross-functional teams around a shared vision
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, making high-stakes decisions with incomplete information, and driving initiatives from concept through launch
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
