A service technician is constantly on the move and will need to be able to sit, squat, stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment. If you are willing to learn and want to grow to have a lasting career with East Bay Tire, we can help you grow into a well-rounded and extremely knowledgeable service technician.  DUTIES INCLUDEMount, dismount, repair and rotate tires ranging from commercial, earthmover, automobile, agricultural, etc. Foam fill tires as required by customer need/wantAssist in inventory and shop housekeepingRespond to road calls and conduct fleet checks for customer tire needsWork on-call emergency roadside assistance shifts as scheduled, adhering to company on-call policyOperate machinery and equipment as needed to perform job dutiesWork as part of a team when requiredAdhere to safety protocols and procedures as required by the job REQUIREMENTS 5+ years' experience working in tire distribution, manufacturing, or service setting Strong Commitment to setting and achieving goals Ability to work as a member of a team, collaborate, and communicate effectively Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Adhere to strict safety standardsAbility to bend, sit, stand, climb, twist, push, pull, lift, and work in tight confined spaces Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required Must be able to lift 75lb independently, team lift over 100lbs. Push and Pull 50 lbs. Work in hot and cold environments.
