Sunbelt Rentals - the fastest-growing rental business in Canada- is seeking a Sr. Road Mechanic to support our operations in the Lower Mainland. A proud supporter of hiring Military Veterans, promoting a diverse, inspired, supported, empowered workforce!

This Sr. Road Mechanic role performs preventive maintenance and repairs equipment at the customer's location in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Our specialty line locations may have a fleet of large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment. This role will also be working in the shop when there are no field calls. Participation in our on-call rotation is mandatory. Our double-digit growth and internal promotion rate mean we are constantly looking to add top performers to our team.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

  • High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
  • 1 to 3 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Base Pay Range

35.07 - 48.22
