Job description

CR Fletcher is seeking a Road Technician for a Syracuse-based vehicle manufacturer and service provider.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Road Technician to join our team. The Road Technician is responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer locations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative service.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operational issues.
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and service recommendations.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or related experience preferred.
