Position Description: About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to support preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a modern tractor and trailer fleet. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in technical accuracy, safety, and keeping equipment reliable and road-ready. You will work on a variety of systems and engine platforms in a stable, team-oriented shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines, tractors, trailers, and related equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Service engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension, and emissions systems
Complete routine services (oil changes, lubrication, battery testing)
Document repairs accurately and follow safety protocols
Communicate effectively with the maintenance team
Technical Knowledge Areas (Experience valued — not all required)Engines and Diagnostics

Fuel, turbo, cooling, and emissions systems (DPF, SCR, EGR)

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors as needed
