Registered Nurse Supervisor-Emergency Department

Location: Fall River Mills, California

Pay Rate: $ 2600 To $ 2880/Week

Contract: 20 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift (4:00 PM – 4:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week

Experience: Minimum 2 Years Emergency Department RN Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN Supervisor to lead and support a fast-paced Emergency Department in a critical access hospital. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional emergency nursing care, supervise clinical staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure high standards of quality, safety, and patient outcomes while serving as a clinical leader during night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, prioritize, and manage emergency patients while coordinating care with physicians and the healthcare team.

  • Supervise Emergency Department staff, provide clinical leadership, and ensure efficient department operations.

  • Perform emergency procedures including IV starts, EKGs, medication administration, and resuscitation as needed.

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

  • Promote patient safety, infection control, quality improvement, and effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Active California RN License required.

  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ,NRP certifications required.

  • TNCC certification required.

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required; supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership, emergency assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient care coordination skills.
