With approximately 50,000 patient admissions every year, MercyOne Clinton operates 249 licensed beds. In addition to a wide range of traditional hospital services, MercyOne Clinton provides a continuum of care with specialized services in wound care, radiation oncology, dialysis, imaging, sleep disorders, therapy services, and skilled care. As a Sonographer at MercyOne, you will:

  • Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related records

  • Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies

  • Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff

  • Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, Values, Actions, and Promise in behaviors, practices, and decisions

Schedule:

  • 40 hours a week

  • Days

  • Monday - Friday

General Requirements:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

  • Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)

If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.

  • ARDMS preferred but ARRT, or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted

  • Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME's every 3 yrs/annual payment)

  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter
