Job description

USI is seeking a Resource Manager (RM) to support Army logistics and financial management operations by maintaining accurate financial records, resolving financial discrepancies, and supporting command resource management processes. The Resource Manager will provide analytical and technical support within Army enterprise systems, such as GCSS-Army and GFEBS, to ensure synchronization between logistics and financial data.
This position supports command financial readiness by researching financial transactions, reconciling obligations, and providing reporting and advisory support to leadership. The Resource Manager will coordinate with command staff, vendors, and Army financial management organizations to maintain fiscal accountability and resolve discrepancies across multiple financial systems.

Principal Duties:
  • Maintain financial records and accounts for supported commands within GCSS-Army and GFEBS
  • Research and resolve Intermediate Documents (IDOCs) and Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) within Army financial systems
  • Conduct research of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) using enterprise tools such as DLA systems, AESIPS, Logistics Modernization Reporting (LMR), and Parts Tracker
  • Coordinate with vendors to verify document status when obligation validity cannot be determined through system research
  • Provide support to commands on financial transactions, including ZAACCOUNTASSIGN, ZPARK, and Year-End Closing actions
  • Maintain and update financial tables within the Funds Control Module (FCM) and resolve system-generated errors
  • Support the G4 Fuel Program Point of Contact by researching financial discrepancies related to fuel accounts
  • Generate monthly financial reports identifying erroneous transactions, discrepancies, and reconciliation issues for leadership review
  • Produce monthly reporting on Standard Pricing status, including pending delta bills, expired delta bills, cumulative exchange pricing losses, and cost avoidance metrics
  • Coordinate financial synchronization efforts between USARC G-8, GCSS-Army, and GFEBS
  • Identify financial discrepancies, invalid records, or system errors and provide recommended corrective actions to supported commands
