Part Time Dietary Aide
Cascades at Riverwalk - Midvale, Utah

What you'll do:
  • Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs
  • Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions
  • Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment
  • Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents
  • Prepare and stock snack carts
  • Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
  • Maintain infection control and safety standards
  • Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors
  • Attend trainings/meetings and support additional assigned tasks

What we're looking for:
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or enrollment in current high school courses
  • Experience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basis
  • Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility a plus
  • Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
  • Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
  • Full range of body motion including handling and lifting objects
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
