Job Description

As a Marina Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting our marina, providing friendly customer service while assisting with rentals, retail purchases, reservations, and daily marina operations. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with guests, and creating memorable experiences in a fun, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.

What You'll Do as a Marina Attendant:

  • Greet and assist marina guests with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
  • Process payments accurately for boat rentals, merchandise, and other marina services.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and electronic transactions while following company cash-handling procedures.
  • Provide guests with information regarding marina services, rental rates, resort activities, and policies.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservations, guest questions, and general inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records, receipts, and daily cash reconciliation.
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures for marina rentals and activities.
  • Stock, organize, and replenish retail merchandise and marina supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready marina office, cashier area, and lobby.
  • Communicate effectively with marina staff and other resort departments to ensure exceptional guest service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support marina and resort operations.
Qualifications

What You Will Bring as a Marina Attendant:

  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, marina, or recreation experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused attitude.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to make sound decisions while following company policies and procedures.
  • Valid Florida driver's license required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Requirements:

  • Part-time schedule (approximately 3 days per week).
  • Must have open availability to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
