Current Anticipated Hours/Work Location:
  • Location: RIT Catering
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
    • Work schedule may need to fluctuate based on University-wide events, and academic breaks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assists in developing and implementing shipping and receiving policies to enhance customer experience
  • Provides timely and effective responses to inquiries and concerns from the university community
  • Supports data reporting requirements and maintains accurate databases related to shipping and receiving activities
  • Resolves issues related to the receipt, storage, and organization of goods
  • Receives, organizes, and stores goods in an efficient manner
  • Seeks and implements improvements in shipping and receiving processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of best practices and strategies in shipping and receiving operations
  • Knowledge of managing and maintaining accurate data records and reporting systems
  • Skill in providing exceptional customer service and handling community inquiries and concerns
  • Skill in effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to adapt and implement changes in policy or operational procedures to improve service delivery
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely processing of all shipping and receiving activities

Minimum Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • No experience required
