Dimension Mill Manager TNT Door & Drawer Covington, Ga

The Dimension Mill Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for participating in overseeing the organization's wood cabinet door Dimension Mill. This position reports directly to the General Manager/Production Manager ensuring production meets the company's performance objectives and customer expectations.

This position takes ownership of the department, assisting the Production Manager and General Manager, by managing and facilitating the production process of products with a focus on quality, efficiency and raw material yield. The Dimension Mill Manager has a strong ability to identify systematic problems that affect quality, productivity, and cost and also offers the ability to implement solutions independently. Effective communication skills is key with members of the leadership team.

Qualified candidates must be a dynamic, high-energy, self-motivated individual who loves a hands on style and has a proven track record in inspiring others to succeed. Strong coaching, training and positive team building is a must. Essential Functions and Responsible:

Skills & Responsibilities Required:

  • Must be mechanically adept with a comprehensive understanding of common industry machinery, equipment, and tooling including profile knife grinders, 5 & 6-head wood moulders, gang rip saws, and CNC routers and machining centers is a plus.
  • Experience managing raw material inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and implementations.
  • Communicating effectively and professionally at all times. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle a diverse and variable workload.
  • Self-motivated and accepts responsibility for actions.
  • Strong leadership skills a must.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday Day Shift; with the ability to work flexible hours or weekends if needed.

Job Type: Full-time
