What is a right of way project manager?

A Right of Way Project Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing the acquisition and management of property rights needed for infrastructure projects, such as highways, pipelines, or utility lines. They coordinate with property owners, government agencies, and legal teams to ensure that all necessary permissions and land access are secured. Their duties often include negotiating property purchases or easements, managing project schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and resolving any disputes that arise. They play a critical role in keeping projects on track and minimizing costs and delays related to land acquisition.

How does a right of way project manager coordinate with engineers and landowners during a project?

A Right of Way Project Manager works closely with engineers to understand project specifications and align land acquisition needs with design requirements. They also serve as the main point of contact for landowners, facilitating negotiations and addressing concerns about property impacts.
