Core Strength Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Manchester, Connecticut. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, along with comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the therapeutic process for an assigned patient group in collaboration with physicians and the comprehensive care team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each patient’s abilities and craft tailored care plans that prioritize their recovery goals and ensure a positive rehabilitation experience.
  • Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques, implementing individualized treatment plans to foster improvement in physical function and mobility.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, therapies, and the proper use of therapeutic appliances or prosthetic devices for at-home application to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies in alignment with evolving clinical needs and objectives.
  • Contribute to departmental goals by optimizing caseload management, facilitating efficient treatment schedules, and ensuring effective hand-off communications among team members.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions in both adult and pediatric settings. Consideration will be given to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation that promotes not only physical recovery but also emotional support.

Qualifications
  • A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Connecticut.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
  • No prior experience is necessary; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient rehabilitation or similar settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and rehabilitation management software.
