• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evaluations to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
• Perform routine physical examinations, develop treatment plans, and administer immunizations as necessary.
• Work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care and manage patient follow-ups effectively.
• Exhibit strong customer service by addressing patient and family inquiries efficiently and compassionately.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate in the enhancement of pediatric protocols and practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage in patient education initiatives to help foster a understanding of health issues relevant to the pediatric population.

This role targets pediatric patients, which requires not only clinical expertise but also an empathetic understanding of the unique healthcare needs of children and their families. Our patient population includes a diverse demographic, consisting of children from various backgrounds, including low-income and ethnic minority communities. Candidates must possess the sensitivity to understand and address the distinct challenges faced by these groups, fostering trust and rapport.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), with an active license to practice.
• A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience, ideally in pediatric care.
• Consideration will be given to candidates without an MSN but who possess current Nurse Practitioner certification and required hands-on experience.
• Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, tailored to our pediatric population.
• Proficient in assessing and acting upon new concepts and trends in pediatric health.
• Ability to comply with state and federal regulations while making informed clinical decisions.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a pediatric setting, demonstrating successful interactions with children and their families. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, along with a solid grasp of pediatric healthcare standards and practices, is highly advantageous. Experience in community outreach or public health initiatives is also a plus, as we focus on both clinical care and community health education.

The salary for this Physician Assistant position ranges from USD 80,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
