Job description

Job Summary:
Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Senior Interface Analyst/Programmer to join their Interface Team. The role involves analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting Epic Bridges interfaces and the Rhapsody Integration Engine, while collaborating with various stakeholders to improve healthcare processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
• Functions as a bridge between customers, operations, vendors, application build teams, and other technical staff such as networking and system administration.
• Assists in the development and installation of in-house developed software.
• Assists in the integration of Epic, RRH systems and other healthcare related software using a crafty combination of Epic Bridges application and Rhapsody Interface Engine.
• Assists in the maintenance of application software that is the responsibility of the Information Services Department.
• Provides technical expertise to all IT members and potential members of the end-user community.
• Maintains a high degree of computer expertise.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 to 5 years of related programming experience.
• Experience with Integration Engines (Rhapsody Professional or Expert Certification a plus)
• Knowledge of HL7, X12, and other messaging formats
• General Database Knowledge and Experience with SQL
• Epic Bridges Certification a plus
• Knowledge of Integrated Systems regarding EMR communication with Ancillary Systems
