Responding to an RFP allows vendors to present their solutions and pricing, helping the issuing organization select the best fit for their needs.

We are seeking a full-time Chief to lead Veteran's Affairs (VA) Urology Services to provide visionary leadership and advance our clinical, research, and educational missions. This position will be based at the VA Hospital in West Haven, CT with optional clinical activity at Yale Urology for those who desire additional academic clinical exposure.

* Management of complex urologic conditions including oncology, BPH, urolithiasis, incontinence, and reconstructive cases

* Collaboration with APPs for efficient clinic workflow and continuity of care

* Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences

* On-call responsibilities shared equitably among team members

* Optional clinical activity at Yale Urology for those who desire additional academic clinical exposure

VA Connecticut holds a formal affiliation with Yale School of Medicine and Yale Urology, providing our physicians with unparalleled academic resources and professional development pathways. This position offers a meaningful academic footprint for those who value teaching and scholarly activity.

* Faculty appointment through Yale School of Medicine (commensurate with experience)

* Active involvement in the training of urology residents and medical students

* Opportunities to participate in clinical research, quality improvement projects, and publications

* Option to perform clinical work at Yale Urology if desired

* Access to Yale's grand rounds, visiting lectureships, and CME programming

* Mentorship opportunities within a nationally recognized academic urology program

Qualifications

* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

* Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency program

* Board certified or board eligible in Urology

* Active, unrestricted medical license (Connecticut licensure required or in process)

* U.S. citizenship required for VA federal employment

* Fellowship training is a plus but not required

* Strong commitment to veteran-centered care, teaching, and teamwork

* At least 5 years' experience is preferred
