AWT has the following position open in our Minneapolis, MN location:
The schedule for this position is FSS, Hours are - 6am-6pm. Additional days and hours may be necessary due to production requirements.
Requirements
The RFID Converting Operator will operate RFID Converting Equipment with the focus being Encoding of RFID Inlays.
Primary Tasks:
  • Operates the RFID Encoder machine and software.
  • Reads job tickets and finishing to customer specifications i.e.:
    • Quantities per roll.
    • Missing labels allowed/not allowed.
    • Ensure Correct information is being encoded.
  • Follow ISO SOP's as trained.
  • Participate in quality and process improvement initiative to ensure customer satisfaction and that all jobs meet or exceed the customer's expectations.

Secondary Tasks:
  • Support the R&D team with sampling and testing new products.
  • Learn the RFID Insertion Machine as a backup.
  • Support Quality by aiding with CAR resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Job Demands:
  • Able to be on feet for long periods of time; able to lift 35 lbs. or more without restrictions.

Skills/Abilities to Meet Job Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Ability to work under aggressive timelines and adapt to change.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and prioritize work.
