Job description

Position: Warehouse Associate

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team on day shift. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized warehouse. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, operates safely, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and inventory
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and proper documentation
  • Operate RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or shipping software as needed
  • Organize warehouse inventory and maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
  • Follow shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and material movement throughout the facility
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order picking
  • Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory labels
  • Basic computer skills and experience with RF scanners or inventory systems preferred
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attendance and dependable work history

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the shift
  • Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds; heavier lifting may require assistance
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, carrying, and repetitive movements
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
