Job Description:

Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and softwaresystems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices

Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures fortesting and troubleshooting ofcomponents, sub-assemblies, assemblies, andsystems

Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, testreports, test flow, and test case design and implementation

Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results

Support formal systems acceptance testing activities

Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers

Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings

Qualifications:

  • Must bepursuing aBachelor'sdegree, aMaster'sdegree, or a PhD inElectricalEngineering, Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or other related fieldat an accredited university.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated softwaretest, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanicaldesign and analysis

  • Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting andusage of automated testing frameworks and application

PAY TRANSPARENCY: In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia (Greater D.C. area) is $25.50 per hour - $48.00 per hour.
