We are seeking a Systems Engineer with longer term Chief Engineering aspirations to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test next generation EW systems. In this roll you'll mentor directly with a senior Electronic Warfare (EW) Chief Engineer to make technical contributions on a related range of programs which will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time Required Education, Experience, & Skills * BS degree in a STEM field in addition to 8+ Years of relevant industry or equivalent
* Possess an Active SECRET Clearance
* Experience EW / RF Systems development
* Exposure to multi-discipline embedded I&T
* Exposure to requirements development
* Technical Briefing experience Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strong background in RF development and test, with a focus on embedded systems integration and testing. The preferred experience includes: RF Development and Test:
* RF development or test experience: Proven experience in RF development or test, with a strong understanding of RF principles and systems.
* Transceiver knowledge: Familiarity with transceivers is a plus, with experience in designing, testing, or integrating transceivers.
* RF test equipment: Comfortable working with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and noise figures.
Embedded Systems Integration and Test:
* Multi-discipline embedded I&T: Experience in integrating and testing embedded systems across multiple disciplines, including RF, digital, and software.
* RF and Digital I&T experience: Proven experience in integrating and testing RF and digital systems.
Software and Firmware:
* Software/Firmware regression experience: Experience in regression testing software and firmware.
System Troubleshooting and Test Planning:
* System troubleshooting experience: Proven experience in troubleshooting complex systems.
* Test planning and execution: Experience in planning and executing tests, including setting up test environments and procedures.
Requirements Capture and Management:
* Requirements capture: Experience in capturing and documenting requirements for RF systems.
Additional Skills:
* DOORs experience: Familiarity with DOORs (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System) is a plus.
* Trade study experience: Experience in conducting trade studies to evaluate system performance and design options.
* Architecture genesis: Experience in developing system architectures from concept to implementation.
* RF System modelling: Familiarity with RF system modeling tools and techniques.
Communication and Presentation:
* Presentation experience: Experience in presenting technical information to multi-tiered audiences, including upper management and customers.
* Upper management presentations: Experience in presenting to upper management is a plus.
* Customer-facing presentations: Experience in presenting to customers is a plus.
Security and Logistics:
* Security and logistics experience: Familiarity with security and logistics procedures, including reading SCGs (Security Classification Guides) and portion marking documents. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
