Job description

Continuous Improvement Manager โ€“ Plymouth, IN

๐Ÿ“ Onsite | Plymouth, Indiana

American Bath Group is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to help build and embed a sustainable CI operating system at our Plymouth manufacturing facility.

This is not a role focused only on Lean events or isolated projects. Weโ€™re looking for someone who can bring together leader standard work, tiered daily management, visual management, structured problem solving, project governance, and measurable savings into one practical operating rhythm.

What youโ€™ll do:

  • Build and implement a practical Continuous Improvement operating system
  • Establish leader standard work and tiered daily management
  • Lead high-impact improvements in productivity, reliability, quality, scrap, rework, and cost
  • Coach supervisors and plant leaders to independently own problem solving and daily improvement
  • Create a prioritized CI project pipeline with clear ownership and measurable business value
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, and plant leadership
  • Help document and replicate proven practices across other facilities once Plymouth is stabilized

What weโ€™re looking for:

  • Hands-on manufacturing Continuous Improvement or Lean leadership experience
  • Experience personally building or significantly improving daily management systems
  • Strong background in leader standard work, structured problem solving, and sustainment
  • Demonstrated operational and financial improvement results
  • Ability to influence leaders without direct reporting authority
  • Comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor in a hands-on, labor-intensive environment

Experience in industrial products, plastics, composites, steel, construction products, bathware, or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build the operating system, prove the value, and develop the leaders who sustain it.
