Healthcare Architect II / Job Captain (Hybrid)

We are supporting an established architecture firm in the Detroit area seeking an Architect II / Job Captain to support its Healthcare team. The firm maintains a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors and is known for a collaborative, team-oriented studio environment.

This role is well-suited for an architect with solid technical and coordination experience who enjoys being hands-on with healthcare project documentation and working closely with Project Managers and Senior Architects. The position offers a hybrid schedule and exposure across all phases of healthcare project delivery.

Responsibilities
Support healthcare projects through all phases from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA)
Develop and produce construction documents (CDs) using Revit and AutoCAD
Coordinate with engineering and specialty consultants as part of the project team
Assist with RFI and submittal reviews, drawing revisions, and construction-phase documentation
Maintain organized project files and contribute to internal coordination efforts
Work collaboratively within a team-oriented studio environment

Qualifications
Bachelorโ€™s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
Approximately 5-10 years of professional architectural experience
Strong proficiency in Revit; AutoCAD experience also valued
Prior experience supporting Healthcare projects is strongly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative setting
