Job description

DEFINITION:ย  Works under the direct supervision of the Director, Specialty Practice Operations, or as designated by the Administrative Director Specialty Physician services or CEO, in providing analytical and project support to a large multispecialty group practice. Coordinates projects with directors, clinic managers, hospital department leaders and providers. Responsible for the success of medical group programs for coding, revenue cycle and patient experience.ย  Prepares and reports department and clinic budgets.ย  Manages provider contracts and quality measures. Performs analysis of group and clinic expenses and makes recommendations for cost savings.ย  Completes special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proven skill managing projects in a healthcare setting, as well as practice management and revenue cycle experience.ย 

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related fields strongly preferred.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):ย  None.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years comparable experience in a hospital or group practice setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Project management experience or data analytics experience in health care preferred.
