Job description

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a respected and established healthcare organization in Little Rock, AR, to identify a Revenue Cycle Manager. This position will oversee daily revenue cycle operations, lead a team through 10 direct reports, and play a key role in improving billing performance, denials management, reimbursement, and patient financial services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare revenue cycle professional who enjoys leading teams, solving operational challenges, and driving process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of revenue cycle professionals through 10 direct reports, promoting accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Oversee daily revenue cycle operations, including billing, claims processing, denials management, and patient financial services.
  • Analyze denial trends, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve reimbursement and reduce future denials.
  • Partner with internal departments to resolve complex billing and reimbursement issues.
  • Monitor revenue cycle metrics, prepare reports, and identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with payer requirements, organizational policies, and industry regulations.
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives that enhance revenue cycle performance and the patient financial experience..

Preferred Background

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Strong experience with denials management, billing, claims, reimbursement, and patient financial services.
  • Experience in hospital and/or physician revenue cycle, preferably supporting Emergency Department, Anesthesia, or other high-volume specialty billing environments.
  • Experience with an EMR/EHR system such as EPIC, Cerner, MEDITECH, athenahealth, or a similar platform (EPIC highly preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
