Job description

At Amazon Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWR&R), we aspire to zero: zero cost of returns, zero defects, and zero waste.
We are an agile, innovative organization dedicated to 'making zero happen' to benefit our customers, company, and environment. We are constantly innovating to create long-term value at Amazon by investing in the future and focusing on the planet, not just on the bottom line. WWR&R includes business, product, program, operational, data, and software engineering teams, who together manage the lifecycle of returned and damaged products.
In this role, you will own the product vision and roadmap for under-the-roof quality-driving evaluation accuracy, sellable yield, and customer trust across Amazon's global Reverse Logistics network

You will define the "what" and "why" by translating complex operational challenges into clear product requirements, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes. Working at the intersection of operations, technology, and business, you will identify customer and seller pain points, leverage data to size opportunities, and partner with engineering to deliver scalable solutions that improve quality metrics and reduce concessions. You will set the long-term product strategy while shipping iterative improvements, and influence cross-functional stakeholders from front-line associates to VP-level leaders.
Come join us and innovate with the Amazon Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce team!
Key job responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision & roadmap for under-the-roof Advanced programs and own performance across the global Reverse Logistics network
- Translate operational and customer pain points into product and program requirements by conducting deep dives, analyzing data, and working backward from desired outcomes
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, making crisp trade-offs between Amazon recovery, seller recovery, and customer trust
- Partner with cross functional engineering, data science, and applied science teams to design and deliver scalable, technology-driven solutions (e.g., fraud detection models) that raise detection rates.
- Define success metrics and KPIs; instrument programs to measure impact and iterate.
- Influence senior leadership by presenting strategy, roadmap progress, and results in WBR, MBR, and QBR forums.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with ReLo Operations, ACES, RCX, and BRP teams to launch new product initiatives that improve recovery while reducing concessions
- Champion a culture of experimentation, A/B tests, pilots, and proof-of-concepts to validate hypotheses before scaling
