Come join Tel Hai's dedicated Lakeview Personal Care team as a Resident Assistant!

  • Part Time Day 6:45am-10:45am (24 hours/2 week pay period including every other weekend and holiday.)
  • Part Time Evening 2:45pm-11:15pm (56 hours/2 week pay period including every other weekend and holiday.)

Resident Assistant Responsibilities include:

  • Assists residents with personal hygiene & tasks of daily living.
  • Provides for resident safety: accident prevention, safety awareness, resident count at mealtime, rounds, and evacuation in an emergency.
  • Assists residents in maintaining health with accurate blood pressure checks, prescribed dietary supplements, encouragement of exercise and participation in activities, and extra assistance during the resident illness.
  • Assists residents in meeting their social and recreational needs: provide reminders of activities and escorts residents to planned activities, encourages socialization, and assists with letter writing.
  • Provides assistance to residents at meals, with menu selection appropriate for prescribed diets, cutting off food, storing walkers, and procuring of services of the waitstaff.


Requirements:

Resident Assistant Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or PA NA Registration (CNA) required.
  • Caregiving experience preferred.
  • Dementia experience preferred.
