Registered Nurse (RN) - 6A Acute Care for Elderly (ACE) - Night Shift
Day Shift (Hours: 7a-7p) Weekends & Holidays per the department guidelines.

ChristianaCare Hospital 6A-Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) passionate about working with the Elderly.
In this role, you will work closely to deliver care that supports older patients facing an acute illness. This unit's patient population consists of older adults, typically aged 70 and above. Our focus is on maintaining function, providing education, and maintaining safety!
Our nurses manage 5 medical patients per shift and work with an interdisciplinary team that includes a unit-based Nurse Practitioner, attending and consulted physicians, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, and other assistive personnel.
As a member of the 6A team, you will engage in a true relationship-based care model. You will build relationships with patients, families, and peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.

Education & Requirements:
  • Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
  • BSN preferred.
  • ADN candidates are required to obtain a BSN within 3 years of the hire date.
  • Qualified applicants must have one year of experience as an RN.
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with older adults.
  • Gerontology Certification preferred.
  • BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
