  • Communicate with technical and support teams to ensure recordkeeping items are maintained, including coordination of plan amendments.


Job description

Pay Range: $71,160.00 - $94,903.00
Deliver client service for recordkeeping, administration and servicing of assigned book of business to promote revenue growth, productivity and exceptional levels of client satisfaction.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree and two (2) years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. ASPPA or other industry designations (such as NIPA or CEBS) preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must have knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to competently use research tools to obtain knowledge of and apply current regulations. Ability to prepare spreadsheets, reconcile numbers and analyze financial data.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to develop application software skills provided by internal training.

Tasks Performed:
  • 45% Proactively ensure plans are administered in compliance with plan provisions and current pension laws and regulations. Discuss the compliance testing process/results and all required government filings. Ensure that all services are delivered within documented service standards through timely communication with clients, plan sponsors, advisors, internal teams and day to day contacts.
  • 30% Daily report monitoring and management, document pertinent client communication and provide internal and external project management support.
  • 20% Effectively communicate with all technical and support teams to ensure that recordkeeping items are maintained for all assigned plans, including coordination of all plan amendments.
  • 5% Other duties as assigned.
