Job description

Home Helpers Home Care of Burlington is seeking an experienced business development professional to grow referral relationships throughout Greater Boston.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, building meaningful partnerships, and helping families access high-quality care at home. We're looking for a relationship builder with experience in healthcare, senior care, home care, hospice, home health, assisted living, rehabilitation, or post-acute care.

If you already have relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, or other senior care professionals, we'd love to talk.


Territory Includes: Woburn, Burlington, Andover, Lawrence, North Reading, Reading, Tewksbury, Wakefield, Wilmington, Lynnfield, Winchester, Somerville, Malden, Medford, Melrose, and Stoneham.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout Greater Boston

  • Meet regularly with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, social workers, elder care professionals, and healthcare providers

  • Generate qualified private-pay client referrals

  • Build and execute a territory development plan

  • Represent Home Helpers at networking events, community events, and professional meetings

  • Identify new partnership opportunities and referral channels

  • Collaborate closely with agency leadership and operations to ensure excellent client and referral partner experiences

  • Track referral activity, relationship development, and business growth opportunities

What We're Looking ForRequired
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, community relations, outreach, or referral development experience

  • Experience working within healthcare, senior care, home care, hospice, home health, assisted living, rehabilitation, or related industries

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory

  • Reliable transportation for local travel throughout Greater Boston

  • Comfortable being in the field and meeting referral partners regularly

Preferred
  • Existing relationships within the Greater Boston healthcare and senior care community

  • Experience generating referrals, admissions, census growth, or revenue through relationship-based selling

  • Home care, hospice, home health, assisted living, or senior living business development experience

  • Familiarity with private-pay senior care services
