Job description

Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners Needed

Seeking Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who would like to join our Multicare Yakima Memorial Hospital Team to cover our NICU.

Responsibilities
  • 13 Hour Shifts - Nights
  • Level III NICU, census 8-12 patients
  • WA based NNP applicants preferred
  • Seeking ongoing per diem coverage partnership - Availability in blocks
Qualifications
  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master's degree
  • Seeking NNP's with Hospital NICU Level III Experience
  • Active WA license in good standing
Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.

Pay Range (Hourly Pay): $65 - $87/hr based on years of experience.

Health Insurance: Pediatrix does not offer health insurance for team members in a Per Diem role.

Other Benefits: Sick Pay Bank; Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Retirement Benefits: Pediatrix does not offer retirement benefits for team members in a Per Diem role.

Paid Time Off: Pediatrix does not offer paid time off for team members in a Per Diem role.

Paid Sick Leave: Pediatrix provides paid sick leave to team members in Washington under Initiative 1433. Team members who do not accrue PTO are eligible to receive Washington Paid Sick and Safe Leave "PSSL" time in a lump sum. Per Diem team members will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked. Team members begin to accrue sick leave upon hire. However, they cannot use accrued sick leave until their 90th day of employment. There is no annual cap on accrual; however, team members will be able to carry over up to 108 hours of unused paid sick leave the following year.

The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
