Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:
Provide care to patients with medical and emergent conditions
Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Coordinate care with ancillary services
Serve as a patient advocate
Participate in unit initiatives and meetings

Registered Nurse Experience:
1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
Telemetry Experience (required)
Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
Hospital Experience (required)

Registered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:
Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
CEN, TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services
Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
