What types of projects or tasks can a retired part-time environmental engineer expect to work on, and how do these roles typically differ from full-time positions?

As a retired part-time environmental engineer, you may be involved in consulting on specialized projects, mentoring junior staff, or providing expertise for environmental assessments and compliance reviews. These roles often offer more flexibility and focus on specific tasks rather than managing entire projects.
