About our client: Our client is a high-growth, recognized player in the flooring industry, offering high-quality flooring solutions through a strong network of retail partners across Canada for both residential and commercial application.
With an solid, yet increasing market awareness in Quebec, the company is investing in the growth of its Greater Montreal territory. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who wants to build relationships with existing customers, develop new business pipelines, and make a direct impact on territory growth.
About the role: We are seeking a Territory Manager responsible for developing and growing the Greater Montreal market, including Laval, Laurentians, North Shore, South Shore, and surrounding areas up to Granby and Joliette.
This is a field-based sales role focused on flooring dealers and retail partners. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with a proactive mentality who enjoys being on the road, engaging with customers, identifying opportunities, and growing a territory.
The Territory Manager will manage an existing network of approximately 50 customers, while focusing on increasing business with current partners and developing new customer relationships.
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to achieve growth objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with flooring dealers, retailers, specifiers, and key partners
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
  • Increase market penetration and grow sales within assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular dealer visits and provide product support, training, and coaching to retail teams
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and identify growth opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and industry developments
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure excellent customer support
  • Provide feedback and market insights to leadership to support business growth

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of sales experience within the flooring industry or a related field
  • Understanding of flooring dealers, DIY Retail, or related building materials distribution.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business
  • Comfortable to work independently with daily travel across the Greater Montreal region
  • Bilingual - fluent in both official languages

  • Manufacturer representatives selling through dealers
