Description

The Seasonal Retail Store Associate will create an exceptional in-store experience by welcoming customers, sharing the Pit Viper brand culture, and helping every visitor have a memorable shopping experience. Becoming an expert on Pit Viper's product lineup, company history, and brand personality will be an essential part of this role. Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked retail space while accurately operating the point-of-sale system will be the primary focus each day. During slower store hours, the Retail Store Associate will support the Customer Service team by responding to customer emails and chats, learning and utilizing customer service platforms, shipping replacement parts, and responding to fan letters. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a warm and energetic personality to every interaction, and embodies the WILD, LOUD, and FUN spirit that makes Pit Viper unique.


Responsibilities:ย 

  • Create an exceptional, on-brand shopping experience for every customer.
  • Become an expert on Pit Viper products, collections, and company history.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process transactions.
  • Restock merchandise and maintain inventory throughout the day.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Ensure product displays are stocked and presented according to brand standards.
  • Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations.
  • Assist the Customer Service team during slower store hours by:
    • Responding to customer emails.
    • Responding to live chats.
    • Learning and using all Customer Service platforms and tools.
    • Shipping replacement parts.
    • Responding to fan mail.
    • Work collaboratively with other departments when needed.

Requirements

  • Must live in Utah
  • Available to work in-store Monday through Friday (9am-5pm) from August through December.
  • Comfortable learning a wide range of products and becoming a true Pit Viper expert.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software platforms.
  • Able to stay organized while balancing multiple responsibilities.
  • Able to lift and move boxes of merchandise as needed.
