The Sam’s Cafe Back of House team operates in a dynamic environment focused on delivering quality guest experiences through a scratch kitchen model. Team members work collaboratively to uphold food safety, sanitation, and operational standards while efficiently managing kitchen tasks and inventory. Clear communication, accountability, and adaptability are essential to meet daily demands professionally. Leadership provides ongoing training to ensure compliance with company policies. What you'll do:
  • Inspect and clean food preparation and serving areas following company policies to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
  • Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and emptying food service areas during shifts.
  • Acquire, stock, and organize food supplies, kitchen equipment, and utensils to support efficient kitchen operations.
  • Provide customer service by greeting guests, responding to inquiries, processing payments, and assisting with food preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety policies by monitoring temperatures, completing logs, and sanitizing work areas.
