Job description

Retail Store Associate

As a Retail Store Associate at Beauchamp Water Treatment Solutions, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, creating a lasting impression through exceptional service. You will infuse enthusiasm and energy into every customer interaction, ensuring a WOW experience each time they engage with our brand. Whether answering calls or greeting customers as they enter, your presence will directly contribute to the positive perception of our team and company.

Your role involves bringing organizational skills and attention to detail to everything you do, from managing cash transactions to maintaining accurate customer records in our system, Service Titan. You will take pride in ensuring that the front-of-house (FOH) is always well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing, guaranteeing that our customers enjoy a clean, welcoming, and professional shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service & Communication:
    • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
    • Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate department in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Retail Transactions:
    • Process all retail transactions through the POS system, ensuring accurate data entry and completion, including credit card information.
    • Assist customers by loading products into their vehicles when necessary. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Cash Handling:
    • Accuracy with handling all cash and checks presented by customers.
  • Product and Inventory Management:
    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records in Service Titan.
    • Stock the sales floor, ensuring all products, including filters and chemicals, are appropriately displayed and labeled.
    • Monitor inventory and notify the relevant department when products are out of stock or require replenishment for retail displays.
  • Sales Inquiries/Interactions:
    • Ensure that all sales leads and customer inquiries are forwarded to the sales department.
  • Store Maintenance:
    • Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-kept, including dusting shelves and equipment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized counter area.
    • Clean and sanitize water fill stations where applicable.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Follow all Store Operational Procedures as outlined in the Retail Store Opening & Closing Checklist.
    • Perform other tasks as requested by management to support store operations and customer satisfaction.
