We are currently seeking a Shop Associate at our New Jersey Service Center (East Rutherford, NJ).
Responsibilities
  • Builds, cleans and preps barricade panels and ensures loads are accurate, complete and in quality condition
  • Allocation of shop materials and panels
  • Inventory control, material handling, receiving
  • Responsible for the care and cleanliness of the shop
  • Read and interpret plans and blueprints
  • Continually operates under the best practices for safe, appropriate and organized use of the shop operations and space

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Experience in construction helpful
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Experience working with various power tools including radial arm saws, circular saws, and impact drills.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and work at elevations of up to 16 feet
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 80 pounds or greater of equipment

Mandatory DOT Medical Certification: This position requires you to operate a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 lbs. and is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. As such, you will be required to successfully complete and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical). Employment in this role is contingent upon meeting these physical and medical standards; failure to obtain and maintain a valid DOT certification will result in immediate separation from employment with Boston Retail Solutions.
