Job description

Mohawk is a family mountain committed to high quality customer service especially in the Retail Shop. As a Retail Shop specialist, you provide customers advice and information on equipment and gear for skiing and snowboarding. Retail Shop specialists take pride in being fully knowledgeable of all the products and services the Mohawk Retail Shop provides. Retail shop staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about the snowsports and Mohawk Mountain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable of all Mohawk practices to explain them to novice customers

  • Cashiering duties, responsible for balancing drawer

  • Utilize computerized systems to deliver fast and efficient service to customers

  • Provide customers with information to make the best purchasing decision in items in the Retail Shop as well as other purchasing items.

  • Provide customers with quality customer service experience.

  • Provides communication with other staff, customers and Rental/Retail manager

  • Able to go to all training sessions to learn about the Shop’s hard and soft goods

  • Give information about Mohawk Mountain and where to direct Customers for more information

  • Able to follow through on assigned projects and directions given by Manager and/or Supervisor

  • Other duties as assigned
