RETAIL SHOP ATTENDANT SUMMARY:

Are you a retail sales guru? Do you love to sell?   If you are motivated by providing excellent customer engagement experiences while seeking opportunities to upsell, then this is the job for you!  Creating displays that are pleasing to the eye while organizing and maintaining inventory levels and is the fun part of this job.


WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Welcome upon arrival and provide excellent customer engagement to all patrons. 
  • Discover customer needs and appropriately suggest products to enhance their experience.
  • Assist customers in the selection and purchase of specialty items. 
  • Respond timely to customer needs and continuously express a genuine and heartfelt thank you. 
  • Continually familiarize yourself with inventory to make accurate suggestions to customer needs. 
  • Create pleasing and eye-catching displays for merchandising success. 
  • Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products and accurately track inventory. 
  • Follow processes for cash handling, register as well as procedural policies. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

  • Strong upselling and customer engagement skills. 
  • Strong organization and detail-oriented abilities. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous accurate cash handling experience.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Computer experience operating a point-of-sale systems as well as Microsoft office applications.
