We are currently seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Minuteman Food Mart Sales Associate. As a valuable member of our convenience store staff, you will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for our customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist customers in locating products and answering their inquiries about merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
  • Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions, including cash, credit cards, and other electronic payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves, displays, and product arrangement.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and organization of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor when products need to be restocked.
  • Follow established procedures for handling cash, coupons, and store discounts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all products, including new arrivals and special promotions.
  • Keep track of expiration dates and remove any expired or damaged products from the shelves.
  • Follow proper food safety and handling procedures when dealing with perishable items.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including assisting in opening and closing procedures.
