Job Summary

The Production Associate plays a key role in processing incoming donations efficiently and accurately to support the store’s retail operations. This role involves greeting and assisting donors, sorting and preparing items for sale and ensuring production goals are met. The associate helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while upholding company standards and delivering excellent service to donors and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet donors upon arrival and express appreciation for every donation.
  • Provide donors with accurate donation receipts.
  • Maintain knowledge of acceptable and non-acceptable donation items and courteously decline items that cannot be accepted
  • Sort donated items into designated containers following established sorting and grading guidelines.
  • Grade, hang, price, and tag merchandise in preparation for retail sale.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly production goals.
  • Transfer sellable merchandise from the processing area to the sales floor to maintain stock levels.
  • Perform floor care and general housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Cross-train in other store positions as business needs require. Support team members and leadership to ensure efficient store operations.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent hand movements and repetitive tasks
