Title: Construction Installation Specialist

Employer: DisplayMax, Inc.

Department: Field Operations

Reports To: Assigned Project Manager/Site Lead/Lead Specialist

Effective Date: 8/31/2026

Location: 100% Travel

Summary: The Construction Installation Specialist is a full-time, travel-based role supporting advanced retail fixture installations and skilled construction-related modifications at customer locations nationwide. This position works with minimal supervision under the direction of a Site Lead or Lead Specialist to execute structural fixture builds, perform patchwork and finish carpentry, and ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. The Construction Installation Specialist mentors team members and ensures safe and accurate execution of work. Assignments may require extended overnight travel for weeks or months at a time, including weekend and non-standard hours. This position could be assigned independent survey work or very small 2-3 person resets requiring very little supervision of team but reporting onsite details to Field Supervisor/PM/Ops Manager.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Install and modify complex retail fixture systems
  • Perform patchwork, paint, floor repair, framing, and finish carpentry as required
  • Interpret installation drawings, construction schematics, and scope documents
  • Execute secured anchoring and structural reinforcement
  • Operate lift equipment as certified
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
  • Follow all company, customer, and safety standards
  • Complete required reporting and photo documentation
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leads and project managers
  • Travel to assigned retail accounts nationwide
  • Support training and mentorship of Merchandiser Installers and Installation Specialists as assigned
  • And any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced knowledge of retail fixtures and structural installation methods
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Trade-level knowledge of patching, painting, flooring repair, framing, and finish carpentry
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills
  • Professional conduct with customers and teammates

Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of retail installation and/or construction experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
  • Ability to perform physical labor including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification preferred (or ability to obtain if required)
  • Willingness to travel extensively and remain on assignment for extended periods
