Home2 Suites by Hilton Kittery, a Colwen Hotels Property, is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for organizing associate shifts, training, and motivating the housekeeping team and inspecting guestrooms and public space in accordance with company and brand standards. To be successful in this role you should have a solid understanding of hotel housekeeping operations and possess strong leadership skills.

General Responsibilities:
  • Tour and inspect rooms daily and monitor for property cleanliness, safety and security, product quality and exceptional service throughout.
  • Provide support to the Executive Housekeeper and hotel leadership.
  • Work to continuously improve guest satisfaction scores.
  • Conduct self -audits to improve performance and cleanliness.
  • Verify number of associates to number of rooms, monitor productivity.
  • Assign specific responsibilities to associates.
  • Identify vacant rooms to be cleaned first on boards.
  • Check vacant ready rooms to verify actual status.
  • Record performance check as guests check out throughout day.
  • Check rooms for arriving VIP's.
  • Ensure housekeeping associates have adequate supplies and carts are neatly packed and organized.
  • Report unserviceable rooms to General Manager/Executive Housekeeper.
  • Assist housekeeping associates in duties as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning of public spaces as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Prior related work experience, hotel experience preferred
  • Specific brand knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in English language/Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to learn new computer software programs and operate the property management system
  • Familiar with common computer software programs
  • Willingness to work 7-day rotational work schedule including weekends and holidays
